1.It’s easy to make friends
Lots of freshmen come to residences, which is great if you’re starting out.
But if you’re older, no worries – our residence hosts students in every year at university, even several master students! So if you need someone older, who you can go to for advice, or just friends your age, Wunderhouse can give you all of this.
2.You’re never lonely
It’s not uncommon to miss your friends and family in the first few weeks of term, especially if it’s your first time away from home, but if you live in a student residence, it’s impossible to stay lonely for long. In Wunderhouse, you could be living with up to 20 other people on your floor alone, with around 68 people in the building as a whole, so there’ll always be someone around to keep you company.
3.You don’t have to take care of bills or anything else
When you’re busy with your studies, bills and maintenance are the last thing you want to keep thinking about. At Wunderhouse, unlike in an apartment, you don’t need to worry about utility bills, as they are included in the price of the room. Additionally, Wi-Fi connection, cleaning, maintenance, 24-hour concierge service and security are also included. Lastly, it’s a place for your mail to arrive safely and received at reception.
4.There’s more choice than you think and residences aren’t all the same
Residence life doesn’t have to mean a crowded floor and sharing a bathroom if you don’t want it to. Wunderhouse allows you to choose between 5 different types of rooms: whether you want a roommate, or a balcony, a smaller or a bigger room, we’ve got you covered. Additionally, our common space areas include a gym, study rooms, an outside terrace, kitchen and laundry room.
5.Newly refurbished
Although the building is ancient, the residence was remodeled in 2015. This means you can be assured to not have to sleep in an old beds or wait for something to constantly break. We try to maintain the charm of the building, whilst making sure all facilities are new and easily used by our residents!
6.You’ll Find Your Future Flatmates
Living in a residence you’re bound to find a couple of people you love spending time with, so when you’re ready to live in your own apartment, you’ll have some great friends to do it with. With approximately 90% of our residents being foreign students, you can be sure to live a fantastic multicultural experience!
Finally, your experience is always what you make of it, so be sure to pick a good accommodation and enjoy it!
